Mrs. Harrington is a graduate of the Western Washington College of Education and is an accomplished musician. Her debut in voice was held in Steinway Hall and she is a recognized concert artist on both voice and piano. At present she is organist and choir director of St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church in Nyack.Mr. Harrington attended Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and is now secretary of Bishop Paper Company in New York City.

DEMAREST - Daniel W. Harrington died unexpectedly of heart attack at his home on County road, Demarest, on Tuesday May 27. He was born in Nyack, N.Y., the son of the late Preston M. and Caroline Harrington. He was educated at the public schools in Nyack and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.
Most of his adult life was spent in the wholesale paper business. He was president of Bishop Paper Co Inc. of New York City and a member of the Merchants Advisory Committee of the Gilbert Paper Company, Menasha, Wisconsin. He was a member of the National Paper Trade Association of New York City and the Commerce and Industry Association of New York. He was also a member of Tuscan Lodge No. 115 F. & A. M, and of the Gideons International.
For many years, Mr. Harrington has been baritone soloist in the choir of the First Methodist Church in Englewood where he was a member. He was a member of the Methodist Church for 45 years and served in many capacities including as a member of the official board of the Nyack church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hortense Y. Harrington, a daughter Margaret Ann of Demarest; sister Mrs. Lloyd O. Sandt and a brother Preston M. Harrington Jr. both of Tenafly.
Services were held at the White Funeral Home in Nyack on May 29, and interment was in Oak Hil Cemetery at Nyack.
